Welcome to our Yearly Calendar of Events. During the year we’ll be adding exciting and interesting events as soon as they are confirmed and we know when and where they will be happening. Each event held is aimed at instilling pride in those who live in Beverly , and also to serve as a welcome to our many visitors to Beverly throughout the year.

Open to the public on the second weekend of every month from 11 am to 3 pm Saturday and Sunday

Beverly History Interpretive Centre Open House

December 30, 2015 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM


Time:      10:30 AM

Location: Beverly Memorial Cenotaph (SW corner 118 Avenue and 40 Street)

Who:        Six local schools will be in attendance and two others will send wreaths to be dedicated during the service

What:      Students will participate in song, prayer and poem recital

 

Special guests:

Daron Bilous, Alberta Minister of Economic Development and Trade

Karl Kuss, President of the Kingsway Legion


The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. with a non-denominational service at the Maranatha Christian Reform Church at 11905 -47 Street.  At 10:20 a.m. the parade leaves the church and marches down 118 Avenue to the Cenotaph where the service continues and wreathes are laid.

The Cenotaph Restoration Program

Update: The Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast has pledged $150,000 toward the Cenotaph Park Project. Other sources of funding are needed to undertake the project in 2016.
