The Olde Towne Beverly Historical Society has a selection of touchable artifacts for the purpose of demonstrating the day today tools that were once used in the coal mines, in homes, and in schools. Participants will be able to take part in discovery and action activities, such as using a washboard and wringer, making butter, wool crafts, and examining coal.
NOTE: The program can be adapted to different age groups. Some portions are demonstrated out of doors.
